Established in 1996, TransportEnergy is actively working to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from road transport as well as contributing to improved air quality in our cities and towns. It provides information on travel to work and fleet management.

Regional environmental support programmes Egeneration, is a free on-line knowledge centre to support sustainable business. The site includes a waste exchange, benchmarking tools and advice on over 20 best practice topics. Egeneration is an independent site developed by a partnership of organsation across the South East.
DTI’s Renewable Energy site, including information on the Renewables Obligation. The Department of Trade and Industry launched its three-year Major Photovoltaics Demonstration programme in 2002, offering grants to householders, the public sector and businesses.
